The founder of SCC, Chef LaTaya Hicks, also known as Chef Sunnshine, was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago,IL. She devolved a love for food at a young age, watching tv to collect new recipes to try for dinner. LaTaya went on to graduate from The Art Institute of Atlanta, continuing to reach new heights in her career. She spent several years working to becoming one of the youngest Executive Chefs in the Metro Atlanta area, while simultaneously giving life to The Sunnshine Creative Company. She is currently on the path of obtaining her Masters degree in Nutritional Science to become a Registered Dietitian.
